Making Housing Payments and Paying Fees

Sorry if this has been posted before.

I'm an incoming freshman, and still trying to take care of everything before I go. To my knowledge, there are two payments to make:

1) Fees on the BAR account of URSA.

2) A payment for MyHousing. I'm on the Quarterly Plan w/o Financial Aid in a res-hall triple with the 19P meal plan. According to the payment plan chart on MyHousing, I have to make a $2,500 payment before October 1st. To pay that, you have to go to the Housing Payments link on MyHousing.

Do I have this all correct? Or are the two payments essentially the same thing? Also, I haven't enrolled in SHIP yet, so is that something I should do before paying off my fees (due to the fact that they will likely be included as a fee)?

Thanks.

You're automatically enrolled in SHIP unless you want the upgraded version. The fees on the BAR account should be your tuition, while the ones on Myhousing are your housing costs.

Any other fees? IDK... the school will suck your soul dry eventually though.

For the payment on MyHousing, do we have to just input the amount ourselves, based on what our plan is on the chart? That's what I understand so far, and it kind of seems strange to me.

yes. 10 char

When are they going to improve the housing website? It's so confusing.

Awesome, thanks for the help. Got everything figured out.
