making student connections cmu phone call prior to acceptance letter

<p>congrats on ur acceptance to cmu!</p>

<p>i am applying there RD and i was wondering if any of you received a call from a cmu student in fall 2007, asking if you had any questions about the univ, prior to receiving your acceptance letter?</p>

<p>if so, what school(s) were you applying to?</p>

<p>I know people who got a call and got in, and people who got a call and didn't get in. I didn't get a call but got in.</p>

<p>my daughter got the call and got in at the CFA as a violin performance major. She is waiting for the acceptance letter now from the university.</p>

<p>I got one yesterday, but I was already accepted ED.</p>

<p>Acceptance letters are being mailed out today, and phone calls will start April 1st. Calls will be made during these hours (eastern time):</p>

2.) Sundays 2pm-6pm
