Alright, please read through this to make sure I did this correctly:

I filled out my FAFSA.

I submitted to six schools.

I made corrections to my FAFSA.

Saved the changes.

Deleted all the six schools.

Added three more schools.

Submitted.

Maybe you deleted the six schools too quickly. This is the way I understand it:

You list the six schools on your Fafsa. You submit it. In a few days, you will receive your SAR: Student Aid Report. It will either be mailed to you or a link will be e-mailed. After you receive your SAR, you can go back into your Fafsa, delete the six schools, and add three others.

There have been many threads detailing this. Just poke around, and you'll probably find a better explanation. Best of luck!

I actually called the FAFSA toll-free number 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) to make sure I did it correctly. I did wait until we received the SAR for the first 6 schools; then I made the changes (deleted the first six, added the other three) and then submitted it again. Anyway, when I called, the Rep checked and told me I did it correctly. It's a free call; it's worth the time to make sure you did it right.
