I am in my final semester of high school and I am taking 4 APs, a post-AP math course, and an honors physics elective. I currently have B’s in all my classes and a C in one of my AP courses (AP English Lit). I’ve already fulfilled the requirements for my high school diploma, so would it be okay to drop the physics elective? Also–worst case scenario–would I risk my admission offer at a top public school if I end up with straight C’s for this semester? I’m only wondering because I’ve been a nearly straight A student, with a few B’s sprinkled throughout high school.
I doubt you’d get rescinded for one C, but I think you’d need a good explanation if your grades dropped to completely Cs.
^ I would agree. Don’t let that happen. And certainly no Ds or Fs.
I recently got a notification from Northeastern which told me that any grade below a “C” and they would have grounds to rescind my acceptance. So as long as you don’t pull all D’s and F’s I feel like you will be fine, especially with the difficulty of your courses.
