<p>is the commended title basically just another award to add onto your applications? or is there anything else that i could possibly get from these scores?</p>

<p>for example, do some schools waive application fees for commended students? or would any schools be more inclined to give me scholarships?</p>

<p>commended doesnt really mean anything besides making you eligible, according to nmc, for some corporate scholarships, and it really doesnt help you in the admissions process.</p>

<p>^^^ Yes, It may help in a few cases but not for top schools. It does help for corporate special scholarships but not too many are eligible.</p>
