So I read the FAQ regarding transfers. And it says that transfers are primarily numbers based. But this is confusing because wouldn't that just mean they take the top 5% or w/e and reject the rest? And does that mean that if I get a 4.0 then my chances are secured?

What can I do to make my application stand out? Since I will be transfering after my freshman year and I will be applying before that when most of my grades aren't even out yet.

What can I do individually? Take 6 classes? Take extremely hard classes? Intern over this summer? How can I intern if I'm only a senior in high school right now?

My 9th and 10th grade grades are pretty bad. Since then (11th-12th grade) I've really improved (4.0+). Because I will be transfering into the sophmore year, what are some things I can do to distance myself from my high school record? I would guess: ace all your classes. But most of my classes haven't even taken place when I plan to transfer.
