Making Your Own Minor?

<p>I'm looking to major in biochemistry, but to minor in language studies (I basically want to know how to coarsely speak several different languages). I've been trying to figure out which school do and do not allow creating your own minor by calling schools and looking online, but I've had no luck with these ones: </p>

Georgia Institute of Technology
Marist College
University of Delaware
University of Maryland
University of Miami
University of NC Chapel Hill
University of Virginia
Washington College</p>

<p>If anyone knows anything about creating your own minors in general, or colleges with good language programs, then please let me know. Thank you!</p>

<p>Having a named minor of language studies doesn’t really matter much. You can put all your “coarsely learned” languages on your resume.</p>
