Male Nurse Looking to Transfer From CC

Hi everyone I’m looking to transfer to a 4 year school from a respectable community college.

H.S. Stats
3.2 GPA
1300 on old SAT (I’m bad at tests and I did not even take algebra 2 before I took the SAT)
Lots of EC’s: Captain for my school’s Mini-Thon, Assistant Yearbook Chief Editor, volunteer at my church’s Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter food drives, as well as two jobs which average a little over 20 hours a week.

College Stats
3.42 GPA (COMP1, Intro to Business, Intermediate Algebra, College Success, Sociology, U.S. History Young America)
Even more EC’s: Founder and President of my college’s Lemon Club (Alex’s Lemonade Stand), A member of one of the first Lion’s Club International on a college campus. As well as a member of my college’s Business Association. I still work two jobs as well, except now I’m the youngest Shift Leader at both jobs (local farm, and a convenience store) totaling around 20 hours a week as well. I still volunteer at my church’s Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter food drives. Lastly I volunteered for 8 hours at the Villanova Special Olympics this year, and another 6 hours to help set-up the Lemon Ball in Philadelphia for Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

I would preferably transfer for the spring of 2019 that way I would not have to submit my horrid SAT scores to most colleges.

I would love to transfer to Villanova’s nursing school but I know it’s very hard which is why I’m trying to “beef up” my application. I also am looking at Drexel, UDel, and Pitt. Do you guys think I have a good chance of getting into any of these? Also, let me know if you think I have a good shot at other school’s along the east coast (John’s Hopkins, Northeastern… I can dream a little right?). Also, is it true that I would have a better shot at some schools since I am a male going for nursing?

Thank you all in advance!
