<p>Just wondering if anyone could give me some additional info on the advantages of each major. Like the differences in job opportunities for each, Which major could land a job with a higher starting salary, and personal opinions about each, etc.......</p>

<p>There is not enough info on these majors in my opinion, so lets get some in depth information and opions... I dont know about anyone else, but I am having a really hard time deciding on what to pick.</p>
<p>Remember, you can always change your major later, once you have a better idea. There's no need to make a final choice now. Since the majors overlap so much, there will be almost no difference in the early classes you have to take, so I would recommend waiting and seeing what appeals to you most. I believe math-econ is best-suited for pursuing a Ph.D. in economics. Browse econ.ucsd.edu. It has the information you're asking for.</p>
