I received an email about the Online summer program for Calculus. I 'm also planning on majoring in International Studies and possibly a minor or double major in business or economics. Would this credit help me towards graduation?

I believe you need some N/S/E credits to graduate as a humanities. This would put some out of the way, I believe.

Wait for more replies though, I may be wrong.

As an IR major, you're not required to take Calculus, but like scorp said, according to the checklist i*, you need 12 credits of N/Q/E credits and Calculus would work towards that requirement. The Business minor and the Econ major (but not the Econ minor) require calculus - Econ requires Calculus I and Business requires a year of Calculus.

Two suggestions for questions like this:

(1) If you receive an email from a Hopkins Department and you have questions - respond to that email or that Department. Always go to the source for the most accurate information. We in Admissions have little to do with the mailings and emails you will receive over the summer.

(2) Post your question on the Class of 2010 Message Board where you will receive more accurate and credible answers. (Tanman posts there too so you will get really good feedback.)
