Has anyone been accepted EA and planning to attend? Please start the posting.

My daughter applied a couple of weeks ago with a VIP application that said she would hear back quickly. We have received the confirmation that they have all of her info but no decision yet.

D was accepted a couple weeks ago. Seriously considering, love the proximity to NYC, small classes, cozy feeling. Does anyone, accepted or current students, have any info they can share?

I applied a month and a half ago with the VIP application…And I had an interview with the admissions counselor and she said that we would get the decision Around Janurary.

Did you have to go for an interview?

My friend applied 3 weeks ago and got accepted. She didn’t have an interview.

pj,

WOW, that’s odd, haven’t heard of interviews. What are her stats GPA/SAT/ACT?

Her grades and test scores were decent but I don’t know them. I applied last week with a VIP application and haven’t heard back yet. My stats are 2050 SAT/32 ACT, 4.4 weighted GPA.

islandgal, the question was directed at pjpaulie.
LOL, YOU might get denied with those stats cuz they might think you’re overqualified and will attend elsewhere!

My father and uncle went there so I think they will take me LOL. The top 15% get offered presidential scholarships so that’s a nice incentive to attend Manhattan. The campus is small and somewhat close to home which I like.

ig,

Yes, nice quaint campus. Crazy, hilly terrain. 6 story buildings look like 2 story from one side!

I am most definitely under qualified. When I went for my interview she loved my interview and was moved by it and such. My GPA and SATS are low…but my resume and my senior year grades definitely out shine them. So Im getting antsy about it! lol and I love the campus. That is one of my main reasons why it is my top.

Who is attending??

I am! just got in this week! :)
