Hello, I applied a bit late and so did my roommate, but we are looking to live in Manning Hall. Is this dorm extremely competitive, do you think we will get a room? We are choosing on the last day of housing decision days. Also, if we are able to live in this dorm, are there specific rooms or floors that are better than others? Any advice from people who have lived there? I heard on one floor there is a tour room for perspective students. Does anyone know what floor that is on so I don’t choose a room on it and run into a tour group in my towel?
Thank you so much!
Manning is a great place to live! I think you might still be able to get a room in there on the last day, the only thing may be the you might be prepared to split up, just in case. I realize that might not be your first choice to do, however Manning is so social and full of great girls that you won’t have to worry about meeting people. Each floor has pros and cons and after moving in, you wont even think about them! The view at the top is awesome, the lower floors mean you can skip the elevator. They do not take tours into the dorm rooms on a typical day. Only a couple days a year do they open a room for viewing and you would know. I’m not sure one was ever open this year at all in Manning.
