Online there are details about the “pre application” for the Manresa program. Does anyone know what the application is like after that? I’m assuming there is more than just the “pre” application.
You have to be accepted to Fordham for that first. 
Did you get in EA already?
Resident halls are decided a little later. You apply to Queens or Manresa, and make choices to other freshmen dorms by your order of preference. Ultimately its up to ResLife who gets in where.
My kid was in Queens.

Not sure what they require. There was a short essay on why my kid wanted to be in Queens, when she applied there.
I do think some of the decisions are based on your interests and transcript. But I don’t really know how ResLife makes decisions on who gets what dorm. My kid had Manresa as number2 on her list of preferences. If that helps.
Perhaps a current student has very up to date information on that. Or you can ping ResLife directly if you want and ask them. Good luck.

It moved to Loyola this year, so that in itself is a big plus. Those dorms are beautiful. When it does come time to choose for dorms make sure you choose Manresa as your first choice. I don’t remember there being any other application process other than the pre-app (my daughter had friends in it last year when it was at Martyr’s Jogues) and those kids really enjoyed it and bonded.
