Hi. I took the Princeton Review Class and the "Manual for ACT" book is fantastic. It's basically 370 pages of very accurate drills. The book is like gold when it comes to ACT preparation. I'm a huge fan of this book because it raised my science score by six points. The class is, however, very expensive (around $1000). Yet I am looking to sell all of my ACT material, and you might find it useful to refer to my "Selling ACT Material/Books" Post.

Princeton Review has the best ACT prep, hands down. I LOVE their Cracking the ACT book and would love to get my hands on their course materials.

My son is taking ACT in Sept. 07. Does anyone have advice to raising the science score? I bought him a book
with 10 practice tests however, he claims they are easier than the actual two exams he has taken. Can that be true?
Any advice would be helpful. His score went down from 27 to a 23. The first book I bought was the ACT book. I bought the Princeton book however, he claims they are very similar. Would appreciate any advice.

slider- the most common advice given here for the science section is to not bother to read the passages, and to go straight to the questions.
Although some questions may require a brief skimming of the passages, most of what's in them is useless and wastes time that the section doesn't give.
