many QUESTIONS.......

Are there people with low gpa's and no after school activites, yet have high sat scores that still apply to johns hopkins? Could someone "guesstimate"

About what percent of people that apply, are actually considered "deferred" and how do they determine whether or not an applicant is considered "deferred."

Also, if you don't get accepted into the early decisions process, and if your not deferred, do they put your application into the regular decision process.
Will they tell you whether or not you were "deferred."

is deferred or rejected the correct term to use in this case?

lol, sorry too many questions

i have one more question, through the college board I sent my act and sat scores to johns hopkins, i wrote my previous sat scores on my application but not my act because i didn't have my score at that time (now I do), will the admission officers still look at the act score as well?

Deferred means your application is moved from ED to RD for another evaluation versus the RD pool.
Rejected from ED means your app will not be moved to the RD pool.

The other stuff can all be found using the search tool :)

thank you very much

Yes there are such applicants.

There is no set % of ED applicants that will be admitted, deferred, or denied. The %ages change every year.

There are 3 possible ED decisions:
Admit
Deferred: Your application is moved from ED round to RD round.
Denied: Final decision. Your application will not be reviewed RD.

We look at all test scores.
