I think you have a good shot--I know that you probably heard this a lot, but with Wellesley in particular you are going to find that the admissions staff doesn't look at the application as an all-in-one formula--they really do want to know the person they're admitting. My stats/academic record were much less impressive than many people who got in, and many who didn't get it, but I was able to present myself as a real person on paper, somebody who really wanted to go to Wellesley. Concentrate on conveying your personality on your application, not just your accomplishments. Just so you know--if you're sucessful at most colleges, you have a chance at the top grad schools. You definitely have a shot if your sucessful coming out of Wellesley. And, um, when you copy and paste the same post to multiple forums, it's best to change the name you address the post to--we're Wellesley, not Vassar. It would be wise to not repeat this mistake on your college applications.

If you apply online you don't have to pay the fifty dollar app. fee.

thanks ooops
yeah you're right about copy past (sry)
a friend of mine went to look at nyu
the admiss rep said she read an essay about wanting to go to nyu that was great until she got to the last line "that's why I want to go to DUKE"
