jw but for those that got in what were your stats?

CAgirl a lot of schools still are offering rolling so u can always still apply to some state schools. Thankfully i got in everywhere else so im just forgeting elon cuz i dont think i could handle not knowing where i was going until the summer esp. when u would lose hundreds of dollars in deposit from the school you say you'll go to and then elon gets back to you.

i applied early action, got deferred, and now i'm waitlisted. does anyone know where to find official stats for waitlisted students? it's basically my first choice...so i'll be accepting it

my essay was ok/good. I really hope thats not what lost me points. I guess I just didn't expect elon to be so competitive as their stats did not show it that way.

crazygrl and CAgirl -- to be honest I'm very surprised at both of your results. Based on your stats cg (and from what I remember of CA's stats) you both have GPA's that are average or above, and SAT scores are above the 75%. I really don't get it -- maybe they thought you were using them as a safety?

ECs:
foreign exchange student in South Africa for 6 months, yearbook e-i-c, Girl Scout Gold Award, and a part-time job.

Essays: I thought it was pretty good, but who knows.

When I called this morning they said the waitlist wasn't ranked, they kept it like the applicant pool, and to just keep calling every couple weeks...i got into davis this afternoon, so I'll stay on the waitlist, but I'm not freaking out as much as I was. =)

I was also waitlisted. bummer :( it was my first choice. but ive been in contact with elon and they said they've placed over 1000 kids on the waitlist.

Is it unrealistic to still have hope?!

i believe the stats from 2006 were that 3000ish kids were offered waitlist spots, 1000ish accepted those spots, and 37 were admitted off of the waitlist.
