I don't remember demonstrative as an answer. Orangutans were contrasted with the monkeys, so it's not demonstrative. These were answered somewhere in the beginning of the thread.

Topasz, what did you put for that? I might remember if you tell me your answer. I can't recall the sentence at all.. only the topic.

I chose (A)... so that was just whatever was in the original sentence. Can someone help me out with this... I can't believe I don't remember the question well because I was totally stressing out about it. But I can't remember anything else to say about the genetic engineering question....

think 3 is not moratorium. a moratorium is a delay, so i put restitution, bc a restitution would be a law that prohibits something

The question talked about like.. a ban on fishing endangered species. But the ban was temporary, it could be lifted eventually so there might be an end to the moratorium. hmm.. i might be totally remembering this question wrong. but i'm quite sure about the answer...

She took in a dog etc etc. She volunteered for two summers, feeding homeless people etc etc. She is now going to Hawaii with her boyfriend?!"

I had NO idea what the 3rd sentence had to do with the first two (which talked about volunteer). Anyone care to explain?

Btw, I put willed indifference too

praiseworthy activity to snide remark. THe volunteering is praiseworhty but the daughter feels a bit resentful because it takes the mom away from her, so she's making all this snide, cutting little remarks ("now she goes to hawaii with her boyfriend".. etc)

i put the snide one most people have said that but back to the canyon can anyone give me some clarification on that one i have already missed 2 vocab 4 sure lol

sorry, I meant that I put willed indifference in the question referring back the the middle of the passage but I did put praise --> snide observation with the Hawaii sentence.
