yes, i'm pretty sure... do you remember what the second word was for the didactic choice?

AAAAAAAAAAAH. Was CR really that easy for everyone? dies I hated the SC.

no....i feel the same way aqua. let's hope for a generous curve

i dont remember seeing didactic anywhere...i'm assuming that was exp?

didactic was on the new scientist vocab one. The right answer was presumptuous/venturing

topasz, did you think the SC was easier than previous administrations? I don't think it'll have a harsh curve. or atleast I HOPE NOT!

no no no it's one of the choices for that :

the new comer didnt want to seem _____ so he didnt____ criticisms about the President's plan

topasz, did you think the SC was easier than previous administrations? I don't think it'll have a harsh curve. or atleast I HOPE NOT!
hmmmm i thought it was a little easier, but maybe it just fit my "style" better. sometimes i come upon a passage written in such archaic and ornate language that i really struggle through the questions but this time i felt that all the passages were written for a modern audience. but maybe cuz the vocab was hard, things will balance out? i really dunno. i don't have that much knowledge about how CB decides curves and what is average/not average. sorry :)

lol I wish CC had an automatic refresher thing... like gmail does...

I post a reply... and once it's posted up... someone's already posted the same thing before I did.

chopin, that was the Q that i thought we decided was presumptuous/venture ... i can see how didactic might work for 1st blank and that's why i asked u for the word that came w/ didactic, i remember it being distinctly "off"

uhh topasz... i think it's "put off" ????

i dont remember the second one really... all i remembered was i didn't understand the second one... just chose based on the first one

i think the 2nd word meant something like "constrained" so it's a double negative..and didn't fit..

wait the observations one i think i checked it off
it was something else i forgot like notice

yeah i thought we agreed the answer was notice

im still fuming about the vocab I probably lost nearly all my points there and I always aced vocab

Yes no kidding. Me too. I usually miss one SC MAX! Now I've lost all my points from vocab too.

im still fuming about the vocab I probably lost nearly all my points there and I always aced vocab

:( you're not alone, vocab was harder than normal this time around. i didn't know what venality meant (the power of elimination!) and i just saw celerity like a week ago :P

i thought venality meant corruption or open to bribery?

Guys if you know you are taking an experimental like having two CR or Maths in a row, can you purposely blow it off because I lost all my energy on the crazy archeology passage? I mean this is my first time and I know I could have scored at least 150 points higher. But colleges like to see a student with iniative and 2 times is fine. 3 is stretching it.

Venality wasnt an answer it was celerity
