March 10th SAT Discussion

I don't know if I want to cancel. Yes, I am now VERY worried.

Those SC's could potentially kill my score... And god knows what that Math curve will be...

The good thing is that I scored 1710 on the PSAT before truly going through books and being tutored. Anything above 2000 and I am set for the UCs.

Venality wasnt an answer it was celerity

in fact they were both correct answers - different questions, slipkn0t

Posts: 83 Guys if you know you are taking an experimental like having two CR or Maths in a row, can you purposely blow it off because I lost all my energy on the crazy archeology passage? I mean this is my first time and I know I could have scored at least 150 points higher. But colleges like to see a student with iniative and 2 times is fine. 3 is stretching it.

You can't really know which one's the experimental one though..until you compare with other people after the test

I scored in the high 210's for PSAT... But then again, PSAT is not really accurate. I hope I didn't get lower.

Who knows? I probably bombed CR.

what was venality for? i dont remember that word at all

Not an answer.

or rather, not the right one probably

siyi, actually that's not true...

I've done so many practice tests that I can "sense" out which section is experimental (for math and maybe writing at least).

If it is math, my friends and I usually have a 2/3 chance of guessing right... so what I do is look at it... if it has weird questions.... i just put my head down and sleep for 20 min... haha the proctor then comes and asks... are you ok? and I say I'm fine... just resting... LOL and i get that weird face from the proctor the whole time afterwards

Does everyone get the same experimental section? If so, which is it? If not, then I'm screwed, b/c my experimental was writing, which is my best section.

what was venality for? i dont remember that word at all

something about bribing a store owner and business transactions.. caught on camera.

the experimental writing had the essay about soap operas...it was proabbly your second 25 min writing

august's_chopin
faint...how can you tell xox..all the practice tests that i've done didn't have any experimental section

i think that was experimental topas

the new comer didnt want to seem _____ so he didnt____ criticisms about the President's plan

i think the first one was presumptuous and i forgot the second

i think that was experimental topas

oh.. could be. i did have experimental reading. sorry :)

siyi... for math... i've done it so much that I know what the test-makers are looking for... for example... if they ever had ANYTHING dealing with SAT II stuff... I'd probably conclude it's experimental... or logic questions... or anything that i sense is "weird"

when do we get our scores?

4/4 i think

what about if we pay for scores? when is that available

i know its my first post, but i plan on contributing when i can and if can it. This is the first time i took the legit sat's.

Im trying to figure out if i want to cancel or not so if someone could let me know where my scores are around, i'd appreciate it.

i think in math i got about 3-5 wrong leaving maybe 3 blank
writing 2-3 leaving about 2 blank and an essay of 10 or 11
and cr 5-7 leaving 3 blank

im guessing on these numbers
thanks a lot
