March 10th SAT Discussion

hawk--didactic means to teach I think, so that really wouldn't fit.

i ono...i put voicing and inquisitive...for that one...i think it si wrong though.

it wasn't compatible
and it wasn't experimental either

the sentence was like
he complies to the rules
which should be he complies with the rules

nox you are insane how do you have 10+ mins left? i made the stupidest mistakes, my contact kept falling out of place on my eye, i had to cover my right eye the entire time and AHh it was miserable. any books or tutorials you would recommend for math

i don't understand why i struggle in math. I am in AP math class and i've gotten an A in every single one i've taken in my life, lol (except for in 6th grade when i didnt do any work)

omg the test was so hard and confusing
okay, last october i got 2160
680 cr, 680 wr, 800 math
that was liek
this time, right now, i know i missed 6 for sure,
and there is a great possibility that i missed way more than that.
do u think i can get better than 680 this time??
should i cancel?

its my 3rd time taking the test btw

thanks hawk...but does anybody know for SURE where "compatible to" was from/what it was about...sorry for being such a joke about this q

Can someone tell me how to write to CB to cancel teh score? i wanna write it now and send it in before it is too late

yeah i think i am getting confused now.

i thought didactic might work because the new member didn't want to come in and instruct the older members, so he refrained from criticism.

hatesat i think u can also fax it .. just type in collegeboard cancel sat score in google.

Hawk I had two writing sections too, did you get a thorton marshall one in addtion to the El Greco? I think the compatible/complies was the in the one that counted. I think the complies/compatible question was the last identifying sentence error question.

what were the other choices for answers on the daunting question please....and the appalling and lurid one

im trying to figure out what i said for them

OHH that was the same as Complies?? i thought it whould be "comply with"...there was nothing about "compatible"...that would be godly if that was the same Nox.

nox, my experimental writing was about coffee and its affect on a country.

and my first was about a guy going to a museum

Yea, sorry coojimantonks, it was probably comply with, I probably just saw comp--- and just remembered it as compatible. XD

hawk, yea I'm really confused about my writing, because there were some people who only had thorton marshall one for writing but the general consensus seems to be that the El Greco is the one that will count. Oh well.
For the daunting one, one of the answer choices was congenial. Don't remember any on appalling and lurid srry

thanks nox, just going to ask it again and see if anyone else knows

could someone try to answer this....what were the other choices for answers on the vocab daunting question please....and the appalling and lurid one

im trying to figure out what i said for them

i believe there were two sat's maybe? each with three different experimentals in it. I could be wrong but it would explain why we had different writings.

so which was the experimental math section

because i definitely got 4 math sections.

i WISH i have 4 math section.......cause then i wouldnt have to worry about CR as much..

daunting... congenial... abominable

daunting was the right answer

i need help determining which was the experimental math. i can't even remember anything.
