BUMP!!!!! don't tell me that no one remembers anything!!!!

That was a bit bad and I had only time left for one quick check. :( But I was tired. Frankly, it was fascinating.

When you say "old arrogant lady" narrative, you aren't talking about the lady whose daughter was the famous novelist, right?

ronlivs..I think so? someone back me up.

i didn't have disney land, but i did have the famous novelist

For writing, I think there's only supposed to be 1 long and 1 short. So if you had 2 long, one of them is experimental probably.

And for the old lady and moving... I sure hope it's experimental cos I bombed that one.

It was my 8th or 9th section. I do not remember, it was a blur. It was not fun trying to read that thing running on no breakfast. It was difficult to read, but they gave fairly generous answer choices. However, I am not 100% sure I nailed it. Might've missed a couple do to ambiguity.

Pretty sure I aced it.
It was a close one, though.

can people start to post any questions that they might've remembered from this passage please?

I loved the lady one; I had five minutes left after 2 checks.

The repetition of the word conventional, anyone remember the answer to that one? That had me kicking my desk in agony.

That was nice. I love devices like repetition and tend to use it in my own writing from time to time.

I'm a bit cheery, huh?

old lady and moving is definitly not experimental sorry:

see my three friends and I each took it, here is our long reading passages:

Friend A- Qiant Squid & Old Lady

Friend b Qiant Squid & Old Lady

Friend c something weird that I forget & old lady

Me- Disney Land and Old Lady

everyone had old lady.

anyone with a passage on giant squids?

There was one in which the author describes the theater, and it asks you why s/he did that. I put in to highlight unique features, not TOO certain, though.

Me too, Kilini, me too.

I used the Cambridge Prep book and I scored very well on all sections: (I hope I don't anger anyone with all caps, but this is necessary)

HOLY CRAP! THE PRACTICE BOOK WAS NOTHING LIKE THE TEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WANT MY MONEY BANK OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ACCORDING TO THE PRACTICE, BOOK I WAS GOING TO DO WELL ON THE MATH SECTION, BUT TODAY I DIDN'T ANSWER 8 ON THE FIRST MATH, 6 ON THE SECOND, AND 4 ON THE LAST ONE OMG!!!!!!!!! DON'T BUY THIS BOOK!

A few things screwed me up, I thought it was mostly alright. Here I offer my sagely words of wisdom:

Sync your wristwatches before you start the exam. It sucks like heck if you don't.

I dont have the official practice book...anyone care to post them. I am sorry.

i had the math with two points on the coordinate plane, it said one was the vertex of a parabola, one was a point on the parabola, and asked for the y coordinate given a positive x value on the parabola (3) or so

also, the question: the center of a circle with 3 points given to you

did anyone have these questions, they haven't been discussed so far...
