March 12 - Official SAT - General Discussion IS open

asianboy: the one with the p=12

wat was #2???

there was only one general version but different experimentals. One of the types had an experimental writing section and the other type had an experimental writing section.

What is #10 then.........

"Yeah, but he said that he wanted to stand in between the two without getting in the line of fire. That sounds like he wants to take a more active role."

No, he said that he wanted to stand on the sidelines, not stand in between the two. he wanted to observe without getting in the line of fire (and therefore not getting involved with the dispute)

again... what was #5 grid in? whats the question?

x^2<x<x^3

I don't think this is one of the choices as it doesn't work.

the curve will be the curve that i'v been posting for the past month, the test was not that difficult, the only place i see a significant "curve" is the writing section, which i noted on the curve i had posted.

anyone have giant squids for a CR

and that curve is...?

does anyone remember that microphone question, second to the last question on cultural center passage?? what was the answer??

"does anyone remember this question on the last section (section 10 writing) that said something about construction workers building house of bricks?
was the answer No Error..? i can't get some of the questions off my head ahhhh!!!!"
I'm pretty sure it was No Error. I puzzled over that one too. Also a grammar one about heart disease and its diagnosis, I can't remember exactly how it went, but what did people put for that?

There was one question (grammar/vocab type) about a guy who was dishonest and used subterfuge...the choices were..well, the only one I remember is disputation, the other one that I guessed for the answer started with a C. Charisomething? Can anyone remember that one?

x^2<x<x^3 yeah i don't think this was one of the choices.

combos which work are:
x^3 < x < x^2
x < x^2 < x^3
x^3 < x^2 < x
x < x^3 < x^2

anything other than those is wrong

dualitytim: what was choice B on that question, because i remember being at a crossroads between b and c and i think i picked b

THe microphone question: I believe the answer is to the effect that modern actors relie too much on technology.

i was stuck between b and c and picked c.... at the last second... hah.. anyone know which one it was?

i put the technology

"THe microphone question: I believe the answer is to the effect that modern actors relie too much on technology."

what i got

gloaming: unfortunately the response was D - "any tool" because it should be "any other tool". chicanery was correct, though.

which writing section was the experimental section??
