<p>I thought this test was a BEAST. I've taken a couple practice tests, real ones, and none of them were as hard as this one. But I guess they kind of had to make it hard...They wouldn't give an easier ACT to every junior in the state. Hopefully the curve with be good though...I'm sure that there were a ton of kids who didn't care about it because it was free and filled in a bunch of random bubbles (the girl next to me gave up and went to sleep), or maybe even a couple who got really good scores already and didn't want to retake it.</p>
<p>The score should be quite good, as alot of kids who normally would not take/don't care to take/don't care to try were forced to, thus creating a greater distribution of low scores. Also, many higher scoring students who plan to go out of state and feel $4,000 is useless would not take it. I.E a friend of mine scored a 34 first time and opted not to take the test for fear of a perhaps lower score being that when you are that high a few questions can make all the difference.</p>
<p>I heard that they were planning on using a curve that is the average of curves used in the past since they do not feel that just a Michigan Sample especially on a manditory test will provide for a accurate curve that truely standardized to the rest of the ACTs given throughout the year. I do not know if that is true but that is what I heard and it makes sense.</p>
<p>and, if that is true, considering that most of us who have taken the ACT in the past feel this one was harder (including myself)....we are all pretty much getting screwed with a curve less that we deserve for the difficulty of the test.</p>

<p>I'm so confused...I didn't think there was a March ACT. I would have taken it if I had known. The date isn't listed on the ACT site...what gives?</p>
<p>wheels: it was a statewide test given in michigan only. for scholarship purposes.</p>
<p>thanks tryin2becool....that makes me feel a lot better. I'm taking mine in April...oh happy day =-)...I need to bring my 29 from my first try up to at least a 31 for the schools I'm interested in....NO PRESSURE! Oh ya, and I would really like a 32 if the ACT Gods are looking over me!!!!!</p>
