March 2009 SAT Curve

Hey guys. Lets start putting together all of our scores so we can figure out a curve.
So far I've figured out:

Math:
800 = 54
790 = 53
760 = 52
740 = 51
720 = 50
710 = 49
700 = 48
690 = 47
680 = 46

Critical Reading:
800 = 67
800 = 66
800 = 65
790 = 64
?????????????

Writing:
80MC 12E = 800
80MC 11E = 800
80MC 10E = 800
80MC 9E = 780
80MC 8E = 760
77MC 12E = 800
77MC 11E = 800
77MC 10E = 780
77MC 9E = 760
77MC 8E = 740
74MC 12E = 800
74MC 11E = 780
74MC 10E = 760
74MC 9E = ?
74MC 8E= 720
????????????????????

Let's try to finish this!

80 mc 8e = 770

Wow, now I really want to know how I missed that many math questions. Looks like I have four wrong.

Thanks for putting this together by the way.

112358 you probably only missed 3 questions.

You probably ended up with a raw score of 50.25 because of the 3 that you missed
51 - (3x0.25) = 50.25 with sadly rounds down to a 50 :(

That’s the exact same thing that happened to me

Nah… I know I missed two grid-ins, so even if the other two were MC the penalty wouldn’t have been enough to take off another full point.

71 mc 10e = 730

i posted the curve a while ago

Oh sorry dude.
How did you get the whole curve for CR?
And you don’t have any of the Writing curve ;)

61 MC 10 Essay - 650

740? that’s what I got, anyway

for writing my D got 80MC and 9 Essay and she got an 800

80 mc 9 essay = 800

haha i really want to find out why this happened
i got an 11 essay with 74 MC
and i got 770 for writing.
I just want to know if that’s a scoring error or what happened there?
the curves should be the same for everyone right?

62 MC 11 Writing: = 680

nerf, if one grader had given me a 5 instead of a 4 it would’ve been an 800.

68 MC 11 Essay= 720

74 MC 11 E = 770

i had the same as you, kzhi2u

Wow that’s a rather generous math curve. December 08 53=770.

Actually, it models the average perfectly:

-1=790 is nice, though.
