March 2009 SAT Curve

Alright. Now that we’ve got more information I can complete the CR curve.
Jesus Christ this was an INSANE Critical Reading Curve…

800 = 67
800 = 66
790 = 65
770 = 64
750 = 63
740 = 62
730 = 61
710 = 60
700 = 59
690 = 58
680 = 57
670 = 56
660 = 55

I’m pretty sure this is right.

Maybe when they made the test, the realized the Indian one was crazy hard, so they made the rest of the test easy and no one noticed?

hey… ik i’m really late to this thread but i was just looking at my march score report again… for CR i got 3 wrong & 1 omit but a 740? looking at the curves here, doesn’t that seem low?

67 -1 -3 -(3*.25) = 62.25 rounds to 62 which is 740.

reading: 56 mc and 11 wrong is 650
math: 52 and 2 wrong is 760
writing: 80 mc and 9 e is 800

bleh. i have a question-- assuming a 12 essay, how much could i get off for an 800? i was poking around the old threads; apparently for march it was about 5 wrong? that just seems a little too good to be true…

umm i might be confused but is that CR curve not really ridiculously harsh?

I’m still upset that 1 wrong 1 omit and 11 essay was 780. ***?

my scores (I dont know how to calculate the totals but here are the ones I got wrong):

740 math: -1 mc -2 open ended
730 CR: -5
760 writing: 10 essay 74 MC (-2)

I hate how 2 wrong is 65 = 800 in CR while 3 wrong is 63 = 770 in CR. Gave my SAT in November and apparently the internationals got the same test as the March one. Im hoping the curve is good.
