Essay 12
MC 64

I was already shaky on writing going into the test so it didn’t surprise me much. Maybe you were overconfident and did not study W as much this time?

Essay 12
MC 64

I was already shaky on writing going into the test so it didn’t surprise me much. Maybe you were overconfident and did not study W as much this time?

Yeah probably; I remember bubbling in like 3 of the paragraph improvement questions while the proctor was calling time. lol!

CR - 790 (up 150 points from Jan 24 SAT lol)
W - 800 (11 essay, 80 MC)
M - 680 :(. That’s what I got on my last SAT (2060)…

are these too unevenly distributed? I want to go to college for chem or neuroscience.

Ut2244, would u mind telling me how u improved on the cr section by 150points!!!amazing

lol.

Well, the first time I took the SAT (jan 24), I studied like crazy, but I did a lot of note taking. The second time (march 14), I studied like crazy, but basically just did practice test after practice test after practice test…

Also, I think a lot of CR is circumstantial; a lot depends on the individual passage. I thought the passages in the march sat were more straightforward than ANY of the practice tests I had taken. So, yeah.

I hate to write it off to luck…but, yeah, it was probably luck. =p

i hate that native american passage, i think it made me get like 10 wrong

The native passage??wasnt that experimental???

Yeah it was. Unless he’s talking about Zubin.

CR - 790
M - 710
WR - 760

Yeah, this was a surprise. I was consistently getting high 700s in math on practice tests but high 600s/low 700s on critical reading. Apparently, the SAT hates me and decided to reverse the trend :P

And to Ut2244, I am almost in the exact same situation you are in. I improved my CR score by 160 points, but my math score only went up 20 points xD…I also thought that I got lucky with the CR section; it WAS pretty straightforward, moreso than the practice tests I did.

im talking about the native american that was a programmer and now is an author

^ Oh, he was Indian, like from the subcontinent, but that’s not important. I owe at least two wrong from that passage…it wasn’t as straightforward as the other passages.

Is that usual in the SAT? usually i read really well but with my head hurting i dont think i got 2 questions right.

CR-740
M-760 (>_<)…
WR-780
MC:80
Essay: 8
Total:2280
I wanted 2300+, and would have gotten it if I checked my math sections… or if i got a 9 instead of an 8 on the essay. I raised my Critical Reading score ~100 points by guessing lol

Math 800
Writing 800
CR 630…
im so psyched…but CR is hard 4 me

When does the exact breakdown come out?

Tomorrow :):)

It’s midnight and they aren’t here yet - is it 5 am?

Wow! -1 and 10 essay is 780!!! That is one brutal writing curve!!! And somehow I managed to omit a math question when I didn’t mean to!! To think I could have gotten 800 math if I had caught that one question! This makes me really want to retake. I think its cool how college board tells u all the percentages and stuff about your score, like how many people with your score retook and if their score went down or up.

lol I got -1 writing + 10 essay too! I’m really happy though because I went from 690 W to 780 =D

Math really ****es me off though… I missed two EASY questions and got a 760, I probably just accidentaly bubbled the wrong answers

ugh, oh well I guess I can’t really complain lol the math thing is just really annoying

yeah i knew i missed one math but the second one i missed was marked as easy, must have bubbled wrong. do you get to see the actual questions you missed like on the psat?
