Math
54 800
53 780
52 750
51 730
50 710
49 700
48 690

That seems accurate.

Looks pretty good to me. I’m gonna end up with a low 700. =

Shift each down by like 20. This one was a lot easier than the January one, but the January one was still like 51 - 720

January curve I have QAS

54 800
53 770
52 740
51 720
50 710
49 690

You have to realize that a lot more juniors took the March test so the curve I posted is probably accurate.

I’d actually say like 770 for -1. It was ridiculously easy.

Curves are predetermined. Whom you take the test with has no effect upon your score.

yep this **** was so easy!!!11

“Curves are predetermined. Whom you take the test with has no effect upon your score”

Are you sure they’re predetermined? Even if they were, they’d know how many kids registered for March. But isn’t the point of the Curve to use the bell curve? How can they bell curve the scores without knowing them yet? (I’m not sure if this is how it works btw, so if I’m wrong, enlighten me)

Hello Everyone,

Any thoughts on the curve for the cr section? and writing? Would you agree that March cr and writing were much harder than the January test?

I think I’m around 690. I hope I got near 700 on everything, but I doubt it. :(.

I think I am around 800 or 780! I can’t believe I’m going to beat all you smart CC kids. Too bad my CR was like 600 and Writing was like 660-700.

Actually now I hope -1 is 780. Really stupid mistake on one.

I see your point, shaheiruddin

My curve is probably right.

This test and the Jan test were equal in difficult in my opinion.

Damn. The math was really easy this time, and I made one mistake. I went back after the section was over and changed a right answer to a wrong answer. So, here’s to a generous math curve! (even though it will probably end up -1 770)

The curve is not pre-determined. Nor is it adjusted to be a normal/bell curve. For example, the percentage of those scoring below 500 is not set to be 50% or any other particular number. The curve also does not depend on who (e.g., a lot of first-time juniors) is taking the test.

Then how is the curve determined?

See this [College Board white paper](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools). Or, read [thread=760312]this long discussion about the curve[/thread].

The curve is based off of prior experimental sections.
