I thought it was quite challenging...the extra section threw me way off guard :/

I actually thought it was quite easy. The essay was pretty stupid and double reading section was torture, though.

I think I did pretty well, though I had trouble with a handful of vocab questions. Best shot at 2350+ I think I’ll ever have though.

I had experimental math, though I couldn’t tell which one was experimental during the test.

Double reading. Ughhh, my least favorite section. Other than that, I thought it was pretty good, but my timing was badd. I don’t know what happened. In my last math section I left like 4 blank -_________________-. I wasn’t really paying attention to the clock. Overall, I didn’t really feel stumped on anything other than vocab. I think…I hope. I wish. Pleaseeeee

I got a double writing

The vocab was crazy easy, as was the whole reading and verbal section. Math was fine too.

But the essay… Easily the worst essay topic I’ve ever come across in any subject of any class or test I’ve ever taken.

Wait how do you know what section was your experimental? I had 4 maths and so I’m guessing one of them was the experimental?
But yeah this was my first time and I was literally shaking because of nervousness. I felt like the math was easier than the math I practiced and then the critical reading wasn’t too bad. The passages were dumb though

Vocab and math were easy(I had to skip a problem because I got stuck on another one). Stupid but easy essay topic. I actually liked the passages; they were easily the best I ever had. I had two CRs in a row, though. I crammed for vocab last night, which was one of the best decisions I ever made, honestly.

Does anybody know what the experimental section was for the Critical Reading Section?

If you know, please tell me which passages were in the Critical Reading Section.

If you don’t know because you didn’t have an experimental section in the CR section please respond listing the passages of the three CR sections you DID have so we can figure it out.

Thanks!

I think the experimental section was the one with seven of the ten sentence completions involving colons. My proctor didn’t say anything about the time, and there wasn’t a clock in the room. :(

jenny it was the one with ria

What is Ria?

Turning in cancellation forms right now, wrote the essay wrong.

SO ANGRY because I knew I had a 2300 on that…

it was the one with the sawdust factory

I think I got an 800 on Math and hopefully a 750 on critical reading. On writing I think I got 3 wrong and probably and 8 on the essay.

what did you do wrong for the essay?

what did you do wrong for the essay?

The topic was about reality television and its effects.

I wrote about entertainment in general and included examples not from TV shows…

i wrote about the Jersey shore and teen mom ;

@Tenors

The first SAT I took, I did the same thing. Misread the prompt and my essay wasn’t really about the right subject. I still got a 10. I wouldn’t cancel if I were you.

I bad mouthed Jersey Shore. LOL. I figured out that I had experimental math because I had two free responses. I just hope that section I got one or two wrong in was experimental!! How many of you had the one with squares and the distance from the line parallel to the x-axis?
