March 2011 vs January 2011

What did you think of this test.

If you only took one, just list what you thought.

January: CR: Harder than normal
Math: Pretty Normal
Writing: Normal - Hard

jan CR hard
math easy
writing ok
march
CR normal
math normal to hard
writing easy to normal

I only took January, thought CR was harder than normal and the other two sections normal. My friends tell me that March’s SAT was considerably easier barring the essay prompt.

Jan math - easy (even though I sucked on it)
Jan CR - hard
Jan Writing - medium

March math - medium
March CR - easy
March essay - HARD AS HELL
March writing - medium

March
Math: Medium/Hard
CR: Medium
Writing: Easy/Medium
Essay: Easy, aced that like no other.

“March essay - HARD AS HELL”
lol I agree completely. A terrible question, too. I don’t know any reality shows!

Am I the only one who found March math easier than Jan?

I only took October, but this is what I think for March:

CR: HARD (and i got a 790 the last time)
Writing: hard, hopefully itll be a generous curve.
Math: extremely easy

January:

 • Math - easy (missed 1, ****ed me off cus i lost 30 pts)
 • Writing - normal? essay topic was 1000x better but i didn’t know what to do so my essay was horrible… wish i could’ve gotten that topic with my knowledge of how to write essays now haha
 • CR - hard

March:

 • Math - medium/hard
 • Writing - easy, essay really really sucked. stupid topic haha
 • CR - average?

No, I agree! It really was… I thought the Jan SAT itself was unusually hard…

I almost never watch reality shows. so the essay was very hard for me. Does CB want to promote watching them? lol

January:
m: easy
cr: hard
wr: medium
essay: yay!

March:
m: medium
cr: medium
wr: easy-medium
essay: MADE ME CRY

Am I the only one who thought the essay prompt was easy?..

March
Math: Hard (but I suck at math)
CR: Medium
Writing: Easy
Essay: Best “standardized” essay I have ever written, I’d be surprised if I got less than an 11/10

Math: Easy
CR: Easy
Writing: Medium (I was unsure about one or two)
Essay: Decent

March SAT

Math: Medium (skipped 5, got at least two wrong, but I suck at math, so…)
CR: easy/medium (unsure about 2-3, missed 1, I think)
Writing: Medium (unsure about 1-2, but no big deal)
Essay: Are you kidding me? I didn’t know much about the essay topic!!! I was expecting something a bit less subjective. Major fail.

Never took the March SAT, but to gauge the January SAT:
2011 January SAT
Math- Easy (but missed one like ryckot2012 which made me want to jump off a bridge)
Writing Essay- Hard (people said the prompt was easy, but I cannot find any historical, scientific, literature-al evidence for whether it is better to learn alone or with people).
Writing MC- Medium (I brain farted and failed this section… Guaranteed I raise this score by 100 at least on the next SAT… I got a pathetic 630)
Critical Reading- Medium (I personally liked the essays they used, so I got a good score)

To whoever said the reality tv show essay q was difficult, imagine having to write about photography…

March:
Math - Easy
CR - Easy
Writing - Medium/Hard (essay wasn’t all that bad, you didn’t actually have to know anything about reality tv shows, I wrote about books. The MC was harder than any practice test I took, I was unsure about 1-3 of them, and I’m usually unsure about 1 max. I think the scale will be generous though).

March

Compared to practice tests I took I thought it was easier then most. I thought the essay on reality TV was a breeze too.

January
Math- Easy
CR- Hard
Writing- Medium
Essay- Easy

March
Math- Medium
CR- Easy
Writing- Medium
Essay- Medium
