Discuss the SAT math section

I think one of my math sections was experimental, did anyone get a section asking for the price of phone calls? With 90 cent decrease per call?

i didnt have that question, so it’s experimental.

i didn’t have that question either… so yeah it’s an experimental. What did you guys think of math? I thought it was a little harder than usual, but I still managed.

I ran out of time in the section with the quadrilateral… I omitted 3 I’m so sad!!

The 25 min section was rough, omitted 3 and probably got 1 wrong.

The grid in section was very easy, probably only 1 wrong 2 max.

20 min section was also pretty easy

so im looking at…
3 omit
3-5 wrong

meh, hoping the curve will be good and i’ll still manage 650-670 range

What was the how many numbers between 100 amd 200 have two or more of the same digits?

^^ I put 29, no idea if its right as I was running out of time

I Put 31 down for the hell of it…

@yankeesfanatic
I got 29 too, and I am pretty sure I was correct…
There are 10 types of 1x1, 10 types of 11x, 10 types of 1xx, and 200. I also counted 111 three times, so the correct answer would be 10+10+10+1-2 = 29.

So there are 29 in total. Someone correct me if I missed any.

Yeah I put 29. AGONIZED over that question.

What did you guys get for the f(c) = r and g(r) = c one?

I also put 29 also for that 100 to 200 question. For f(c) = r and g(r) = c I refer the chart and got 0?

However i was stuck on the circle that make the quadrilateral question… Any attempts? I put down 3 as a logical guess.

i got 0 for the c thing

I got 29 as well.
I counted through twice to be sure haha.

I thought the math was reasonable actually.

That was 0, I’m pretty sure.

And for, the circle question if you split it into two triangles of equal area, you see that the bottom one has length 1 (the radius) and base 4 (the distance along x-axis). So the area of 1 triangle is (1/2)(4)(1)=2 and the total area is 2*2=4.

was the area of the triangle formed by line L w/ slope -3 24?

lalala, I don’t remember having that question. Perhaps you had an experimental math section.

What was the shortest distance to get from one point on the circle to the next?
