the experimental section was probably the one with the Superman passage.

I had Helen Keller on one of my critical reading sections. I hope I at least got a 700.

I don’t remember getting any Superman passage though, and I did have an experimental reading… :/

I don’t think I had Helen Keller or Superman.

EDIT: My experimental was Math.

for music one, did you guys put something about categorical assertion

Is there only one set of experimental?

IIRC, I got 4 CR sections, so one of them must not have counted. Does anyone know what questions were experimental?

Double post:

Anyone get a problem about having to find an analogy for smelling a roast and a fine rose? I put warning bell/soothing melody.

In the same passage, there was a problem about what explanation there could be for an experimental variation…

Or was this section experimental?

@preply
With the passage 1 reacting to passage 2, what letter was the choice?

I put something like how classical music is regarded.

Gah! That was a stupid question. Well, that’s my excuse.

Are you guys sure that this is the right answer?

Giggsy, nice list.

Do you remember more specifically what the question was?

(oh, and as a disclaimer, I’m assuming that this all is allowed…xd.)

For the Cairo passage question about the purpose or something along those line, I’ve heard people both say something about formative period and something about regrets. Anybody know which is right?

Also, any ideas on the curve for this? I know I got a vocab wrong (stupid mistake because I was flustered) and either a few critical reading or a lot (trying to decide whether to cancel and I can’t remember all my answers). Is the curve looking as bad as January?

addyebell:

I put formative period. Although the author does regret some of his actions, it’s not the primary purpose of the passage, IMO. He talks plenty about actions/traits unrelated to regrets.
Most people seem to put the curve around the yellow here (careful; first chart is math):
http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf

addyebell: im almost positive its formative and not regrets because the passage contains a lot of details like how smart he was as a child which doesnt have to do with regretting

Problematic or thrilling?

problematic, she could do stuff back home but in the jungle she was screwed basically

^cool.

Does anybody know what the answer choices were to the pollution-business sentence completion question? I know the answer is redress-palliative.

damn um it was galvanize, rectify, thats all i can remember but the other 2 were BS answers probably

Galvanize and rectify did not go together then.

So rectify…do you remember what word it was paired with?

ya they were two different options but im sorry i can’t recall any other words.

Do you remember one with anarchists? it was argued against right?

I’m so mad about the “prescient” /“durability” and “sanguine”/“resilience” question. I had it sanguine and then switched it to prescient just as they were calling time. As I was walking out of the room when we were finally done I realized that “pre” = before and “scient” = knowing.

Also, if anyone knows if it was “spontaneous” or “superficial,” I would love to know.
