Taking it in March as well. Aiming for that 2400. Looking at a 800 in M, 710-730 in W, and 690-710 in CR. Just need to work on my idioms and vocab. A little bit of passage reading as well.

I can’t believe I did not find this thread. will be taking it for the first time as a junior and my highest practice test score is only 1910… i need at least 2200 D: I loose the most marks in the grammar section - i just cant seem to nail that down ): any tips? I find it really hard to juggle between prepping for SAT and being in the IB program ;_;

How are you guys preparing for unusual SAT prompts? What examples would you need to know?

For instance: Can TV celebrities be role models? or Is it harmful to pay students for doing well?

Holocaust - I’d say that for those kinds of prompts you just have to be able to, firstly, make quick decisions. I’ve done an exercise where in reaction to different topics, you take one minute to come up with a good thesis.
Secondly, I recommend reading the news each day online or wherever to learn about current events and pop culture that you can incorporate into your essays.

2 more days!
Honestly at this point in deflated and in a “yolo” mood. I’m tired from studying and I just want to sleep. Last time taking it and have to worry about the ACT and subject tests next.

Anyone have tips regarding two long passages on the CR? Like questions referring to both? I have trouble with those.

So what kind of strategies has everyone decided on? Like CR: reading the whole passage with or without reading the questions first or chunking with/out?

Can someone read and grade the practice essays I’ve written in preparation for the test on Saturday?

DO NOT
forget about this guys!!! POST right when you take it
