I think it is still possible that “May 18” could just be a typo, because he doesn’t say that scores will be delayed until May 18, he says, “Official scores will be released on May 18.” Near that line, someone asks him why they have to wait until May for March SAT scores, and he says because it takes extra time to compare old SAT scores with new ones. In another line he says scores will be available in mid-May. The chart on the College Board site has not been changed, though. It still says scores will be ready on May 10 and available for sending to colleges in mid-May.
@BunnyBlue scores being available in Mid May in pretty ambiguous though. If they were still on for May 10th, I think they would have replied with May 10th rather than mid May.
Yes, I see what you mean. Maybe they just haven’t changed the chart yet.
I wonder if the colleges are getting impatient with them. I’d imagine they need the concordance to update their admissions criteria.
I just checked, twitter says May 10th:
@VeachKate March SAT scores will be available beginning May 10. https://t.co/ZECbw4RHEm
They also said concordance tables will vs available May 9th. Where did you see a different date for March?
Its the April scores that are now being released on May 18th
@suzyQ I don’t think links are allowed so I link to the tweet but it was about two days ago if you check Twitter.
My bad guys, there’s actually a tweet about a week before that specifically saying it was for April exam.
That’s okay. Just generated a little extra excitement.
ahh 4 more days!!!
i really hope they dont delay the scores, i wouldnt be able to handle that long of a wait
What would be a good enough score for top schools to not have to retake it?
How top?
We need the concordance to know for sure.
Guys gimme some tips… Didn’t study anything cuz I was busy…
On estimate a old 2100 will be around a 1400 on the new one so that could be a relative benchmark for you…
Personally I am aiming for something in the high 1400’s and if I get something in the low 1500’s I probably wont take it again
Any news about the May test? Please share.
@mathwizard786 Same goals here
@buffalo11 What was your psat?
@mathwizard786 1360. It’s funny though because I went over the ones I got wrong and they seemed so easy. Hopefully the practice paid off in March. How about you?
@buffalo11 Yeah same about the questions I missed. 1400 on my Psat. Low key hoping that national merit flops its standards and my 206 index qualifies but that is unlikely.
