March 2019 SAT

Playing the waiting game again! Good Luck to Everyone!

SECTION 3 WAS HARD

I honestly thought this test was a lot harder than October and August ones especially the reading and wiritng section

My son just took his first official SAT test (March) and he said that he felt it was a lot harder than any of the practice tests he completed…

Three more days!

Lets hope that scaling and curving is reasonable this time!

Did you receive the score? It says the scores will be available in a week.

Were any of you able to see the score today?

Nope. Pending.

My kid got

800 math (missed none)

720 EBRW

39 reading missed 1

33 writing missed 7

Hope that helps with those wondering about curve.

Results were available for us at 8am (NYC)

My son (7th grader) tested to qualify for a talent search and scored 1390:

730 math - 53 total questions correct (missed 5)
660 EBRW - Reading - 40 questions correct (missed 12)
Writing - 38 questions correct (missed 6)

He scored well enough on the math portion to qualify for the talent search - which was our objective. He did zero preparation for EBRW because we only had about 5 weeks to prepare and thought it would be most beneficial to focus on the math portion (his strength) to ensure he gets accepted into the program.

@Luvmy2kids what were his scaled Writing and Reading scores?

Reading 32, Writing 34

Ours are postponed too. We are in MA. I wonder if it is regional?

don’t know. we are in VA.

My son got his score right at 8 am eastern time.

At noon here in the Midwest and still showing pending. Last Fall I think we saw ours around 2pm.

They release scores in waves now. Lot of scores coming later afternoon 4-6pm. Also some scores come out the next few days but the majority will come at some point today. I do miss the old days where ALL the scores would come pronto first thing in the morning!

Also according to scores so far the curve looks decent for reading and writing and kind of harsh for math where -1 is 790 but -2 is 770.

Maryland still pending
