Seems as though everyone has already heard back about their admissions decisions, however I’m kind of stuck alone here in the dark. I check my lmu religiously and still says “application currently under review”

That happened last year to a good friend’s daughter. At the end of March she received notice that she was accepted but only if she started spring semester. She enrolled in a local community college to take her beginning classes in the fall (LMU helped her with that).
She is there now and is and happy!

Your not alone. My S is still the same. Hang in there one more week. 
Daughter called admission office today and they told her she will hear on April 1.

@FabulousWu Glad to hear your child is happy at LMU. Wanted to inquire whether and financial aid grant or merit scholarships were offered with the Spring Admission offer?
My daughter was deferred from the Film program ED and we are still waiting. Can NOT believe its March 27 and we still have no decision. I don’t know anyone else who is waiting!! It’s crazy.
Same thing here – my son was deferred from Film program and still waiting! I’m assuming from your name you are in Chicago area also? Wish they would just let us know!

Are they sending admission decisions by mail or email?
LMU is the only school I haven’t heard from.
“Officially” they are sending by mail. Admissions office said the letter is sent and 3 days later they will update your account on-line. If it’s a yes – it is a package! BUT . . . I’ve also heard the admissions office is very disorganized and some people noticed it on-line and received a letter several days later and some people did receive an email. So it could be anything!
Just called admissions - she specifically said my decision was mailed today
And should arrive next week.
Deferred EA Film Production (NY)
My son who was deferred from EA Film Production had his portal updated to “application denied” a few hours ago! Annoying it took this long to make a decision! Good luck to all who were accepted!
Hey guys! Still waiting over here in California. I have been deferred as a liberal arts undecided major. I’ve sent them an updated resume, a letter expressing my high intent and an updated grade report. My portal still says “application currently under review” but should I not look into that too much? It’s getting so close to April 1st and it’s so nervewracking! Would calling and asking be a good option?
@dancer9731 It wouldn’t hurt to call tomorrow. I think you will find out soon given the few posts above yours. They are on spring break this week, but I can’t imagine the admissions office being closed. Best of luck to you!
A package doesn’t necessarily mean admission. I received my admission letter in an envelope with one sheet of paper in it. So never lose hope - down to the very last seconds!
I am also still waiting… I was wondering if anyone knew if they send the letters by April 1 or if we receive them by April 1.
I’m from Northern California and I still haven’t heard back. I called today and was told my letter is going to be mailed out today. I was deferred and applied for Screenwriting. LMU is my last school to hear back from I’m praying I get in or at least offered spring admission or waitlist.
