@kingdornhearts I’m in the exact same boat as you I’m from Northern California too and it’s my last school. If they said it will be mailed out today we should hear back probably tomorrow…so nervewracking!

It’s so odd how the timing is all over the place rather than uniform for all. Still no update on portal. Will have to check mailbox when I get home.

Applied for Film Production
gpa 3.7 weighted
APs: AP English
Honors: all honors courses from freshman to junior year, two senior year
SAT: 1990 (670 Reading, 630 Math, 690 Writing)
Decent ECs: Varsity Soccer for three years, Journalism Club for 2, International Club, 4 volunteering positions
Good Letters of Rec: I transferred my senior year so one of my letters of rec came from a teacher that liked me, but barely knew me. The other came from a very good english teacher, didnt read it but I know its good.
Essays: Film Essay: probably couldve worked on it more, but it was more than decent.The other essay and the common app essay were pretty good, had my guidance counselor read it and she told me it was great.
Accepted at: Chapman University (with 15,000 scholarship), Brooklyn College, CSULB
Haven’t heard from: Syracuse University
Denied: none

Same here–no change on portal and no mail arrived. When I called a few days ago they said I would know by today. They are so slow. So frustrating…
