<p>LOL, I got cornell right but I went from 2nd to 9th in the standings. Haha.</p>
<p>i got 15/16 yesterday (not cornell/temple) and i am in 4th/43 in my main bracket. I am the only one with KState winning it all though so it’s gonna come down to that 
I am doing terrible in the HSL bracket. I made some ridiculous picks lol- temple elite 8. I should have changed this one :(</p>
<p>Today I’ll be rooting for;</p>
<p>NIowa (hate kansas and have them losing final 4)
Ohio (jumped on gtown elite 8 bandwagon)
Butler (to the elite 8 baby!!)
KState (all the freaking way)
Wake (only have Kentucky to the sweet 16 anyway losing to wiscy)
New Mexico (and over WVU next round)
Baylor
St. Mary’s</p>
<p>Of the above picks, i don’t think NIowa, Ohio, and Wake will happen. However, i think St. Mary’s will shock everyone and beat Nova. Nova has trouble with teams who have big front courts that can put the ball in the net and get 2nd chance points.</p>
<p>Today for me, LET’S GO!!!:</p>
<p>Villanova - Have the train stop in the Elite 8 for them vs. Duke.
Butler - Have them going to the S16. Maybe should I root for Murray St. b/c nobody has them in the S16 (for the most part) and it would make Cuse’s road to the Final Four that much easier.
Ohio - I had G’town in the S16. It would make the road easier for Ohio State and who doesn’t want to see a 14 in the S16? Seriously.
Kansas - I have them in the Final Four.
Old Dominion - Same situation as Ohio. I had ND in the S16 and I would love to see them become a cinderella. Plus, it makes the potential road for Nova (I say potential b/c you can’t tell how they will play vs. SMC)
Washington - Same as above, I had 'quette in the S16.
KState - Have their road stopping at the S16. Perhaps I should root for BYU to make Pitt’s road easier?
Tucky - Have their road stopping in the Elite 8 vs. WVU. (But WF’s fight song has always been one of my favorites

<p>I don’t like your PIT pick man. I think BYU would beat them as well as KState. I have them losing to Xavier tomorrow and i was somewhat confident with that pick as well. PIT is very inexperienced and idk how they got a 3 seed. If you only have kansas to the final 4, then root for Wake. I have them in the final 4 too, but it will ruin 85% of people’s brackets, even if you have them in the national championship. Almost 50% of america has them winning it all on ESPN. Here’s what i think about each game;</p>
<p>Nova vs St. Mary’s- St Mary’s pulls the upset, or nova wins at the wire again. St mary’s has a good front court that gets a lot of 2nd chance points. Vs a team like nova, they will thrive on 2nd chance points and if nova doesn’t hit their shots, it will be a longgg day.</p>
<p>NIowa vs Kansas- Kansas is better, but NIowa has some good players who can keep it to single digits for a good portion of the game.</p>
<p>Ohio vs TEN- If Ohio hits 50% of their 3s, they will make this a good game and have a decent shot at winning. If they don’t, then forget it.</p>
<p>Butler vs Murray St.- Butler is an experienced tourney team, but Murray St. has a very solid team and wins games they should win; they shouldn’t win this game and i don’t think they will.</p>
<p>KState vs BYU- Two extrememly high powered back courts. I believe KState’s scrappy defense along with their senior leadership will be superior. Also, BYU had to go to 2 OTs to beat FLA, and i can bet you they’re a bit fatigued both mentally and physically.</p>
<p>Wake vs Kentucky- Wake has 4 big players who can go head to head with cousins and patterson. They also have a great small forward (i think SF) in Aminu who’s a great player all around. Look for a close game today!!</p>
<p>New Mexico vs WASH- I orinally had WASH in the sweet 16, but i switched to UNM in the elite 8. I believe they’re one of the most underrated teams in the tourney; they have one of the best 3 pt shooting teams in the nation as well as a 6 or 7 RPI rating going into their conference tourney. If they beat SDSU, they’d be a 2 seed. They beat a great BYU team twice, and i think that their offense will be too much for the Pac 10 champs today.</p>
<p>ODU vs Baylor- Baylor is better. They’re going to beat ODU today. Very well rounded and have the pieces to make a final 4 run.</p>
<p>I’m going to have no nails left by the end of the day if the other 7 games are like this SMC/Nova game.</p>
<p>woooooooooo St. Mary’s- too bad i had richmond beating them to the sweet 16 
if i had St. Mary’s i woulda had them over Nova- i guess i shoulda stuck with my gut.</p>
<p>Wow, the Big East has been a HUGE disappointment so far. Gotta hand it to St.Mary’s though, they played a very nice, consistent game.</p>
<p>I’ve come to the conclusion that the Big East = Big Joke, at least for this tourney.</p>
<p>Notre Dame, Villanova, Marquette, Louisville, Georgetown, ugh, and the first round isn’t even over! They’ve thoroughly screwed over my bracket.</p>

<p>Villanova- ok they came in on the wrong track. They were also out-sized by st. mary’s
Notre Dame- weren’t used to playing with gody back and i didn’t watch that game so i can’t comment much
Marquette- SEVERELY out-sized as well. I thought they were bound to lose.
Louisville- CAL isn’t bad and they’re not that good. They’re in because they beat cuse twice.
GTown- no excuses. Terrible.</p>
<p>Murray St plays tenacious D- will be a real physical game vs butler and i’m worried after watching 4 minutes</p>
<p>Yeah, some of the matchups didn’t favor the Big East teams but Georgetown, 'Nova, and Notre Dame should’ve won their games. Those 3 teams weren’t really outmatched IMO. </p>
<p>I’m hoping Murray State wins. If there ever was a year for mid-majors and small schools to win, this is the year.</p>

<p>I think the Georgetown upset was the one game that seriously screwed everyone over. A lot of people had them in the Elite 8, Villanova also screwed up a ton of people’s brackets but I know a lot of people who had them out in the sweet 16.</p>
<p>^ I had Gtwon losing to Ohio St. and Nova losing to Baylor. Doesn’t mess it up TOO much.</p>
<p>I had both teams losing in the Sweet 16. Tennessee > Georgetown and Notre Dame > Villanova.</p>
<p>Ohio is for real; they have a ton of shooters and they’re a bunch of pesky little ****ers. Really fun watching them play now</p>
<p>7/8 left in E8 now! Nice job Villanova! Can’t really blame Nova for losing that game. Kansas would have lost too the way SMC was shooting. That ugly PG for SMC w/ the mouth guard was nearly hitting the jumbotron with a few of those arching 3pointers. How many banking 3’s did he make!?!?</p>
<p>Terps moving on to the next round! Time to beat Michigan State.</p>
<p>Terps/MSU was actually the game that caught my eye the most when the bracket came out. I am really looking forward to watching this game, and i have MSU winning.</p>
<p>Why does everyone have Sparty winning this game? As a biased Maryland fan, I just don’t understand. People always say, “Oh, Tom Izzo is the greatest coach ever, therefore, MSU will win.” Do they forget that Gary Williams is also a sure-fire Hall of Famer (and probably should be in the Hall of Fame right now)?</p>
