I grew up around Michigan State, so naturally I’m a Spartan fan. It’s going to be a great game though.</p>

I don’t think people are taking anything away from Gary Williams when they say that. Williams is undoubtedly a great coach, but since Maryland’s 2002 Championship the school hasn’t accomplished much while Michigan State has gone to two Final Fours, so people are definitely going to talk more about Izzo. That said, Gary Williams is still a great coach and the Maryland program has produced a lot of great players during that time.</p>

<p>MSU made it to the finals last year, and they have a lot of the same players and leadership; kalin lucas, raymon morgan, durrell summers, and some more. They lost sutton or w/e that centers name was from last year, but most of the players they have this year helped them last year. Everyone is also forgetting they were injured most of the season and are (somewhat) healing up at the right time.</p>

Yup, and the best part is that all of them except Morgan are JUNIORS, so (hopefully) they’ll all be back next year for a Championship run. I’m still impressed with how they were able to make it to the final game last year when we had a really really young team with lots of underclassmen.</p>

<p>UNI is smacking Kansas right now. That alley-oop is showing UNI has got Kansas on a string for the rest of the game. Kansas is so nervous, ahhhhh. :P</p>

<p>I hope the pressure doesn’t get to UNI, this could be the biggest upset of the tourney. They’ve got to hold on to their lead now…</p>

<p>Indeed, Washington is also tearing UNM apart, but I don’t think they deserved a 3 personally. St. Mary’s size and 3 point shooting killed Nova, and ODU is on Baylor’s Heels.</p>

<p>I got Kansas winning it all but my bracket is shot, so I’m rooting for UNI. Plus, I think Maryland has a better chance against UNI than Kansas. Although, Maryland has to beat MSU first.</p>
