If Cornell plays like they did against Kansas they can beat Temple.

and if temple plays their best, they will probably beat cornell. I think Butler will make it rain on UTEP. I actually don’t have a single 5-12 upset this year, but i wouldn’t be surprised if UTEP beat butler.

Temple thrives on defence, taking away the three. Cornell excels at shooting the three. With the three gone. Cornell will crumble. Temple should be either a 3rd or 4th seed, and they will hand it to Cornell. Not saying it wont be close, but Temple should make it to the sweet 16 IMO.

@ JW, I’m leaning in that direction too lol… although it feels wierd. It has happened over 25% of the time in the past like 15 years.

^ If Cornell hits their 3’s consistently they can play anyone in the nation blow for blow and could beat Temple. But the problem is that if their threes aren’t falling then they can’t score points in bunches and I don’t think their defense is strong enough to go blow for blow with Temple.

Temple’s defence is one of the best in the country. Those three’s won’t fall with enough consistency to do damage.

I agree with Baltimoron that it’s a travesty that they have Jennifer Hudson (it is Hudson, not Anniston) singing it now. Total bull.

I had both Utah St and UTEP winning. This should be a good year for the 12 seeds, lol.

I HAD Utah St. winning, but then took a look at AM and was sold. I am still undecided on UTEP and Butler. need to look at the matchup a little more. Whoever wins that game though goes to the sweet 16. Either one of them can beat vandy right now.

I think if Butler gets to the sweet 16, they’ll take down cuse and go to the elite 8. If not, nobody else matches up somewhat ok vs them until KState. I think their virtual home game vs Gonzaga is going to be easier than i originally thought (had zags winning).

lol butler doesnt play gonzaga. not even in the same regional area this year.

I AM FINALLY DONE WITH MY BRACKET!! NOT CHANGING A THING FROM NOW TO KICKOFF! YAY!

I struggled with this year’s bracket. I’ve never had trouble like this. I filled out 3 brackets, none of which I liked, before I finally settled on a new one.

My Final Four: Kansas, Syracuse, West Virginia, Baylor
National Champion: Kansas

I HATE picking the overall #1 seed to win it all (I never do it) but I just had to go with Kansas on this one. I think they are far and away the best team this year. Plus, the rest of these teams suck, lol.

This year was VERY hard. haha i think I spent about 7 hours making my bracket total. Kansas, Kansas St., Kentuky, and Duke for me. Almost put Baylor (that grame will be great to watch) but I believe Duke has played and is slightly better. An injured cuse team thats on a low point against a fiery kansas state = kansas state win. IMO

^ Yeah, that was the hardest region for me. I actually had Kansas State winning it all in one of my earlier brackets that I trashed. And I had no idea what to do with Vanderbilt. I have a feeling this region is gonna f my bracket up real bad, lol.

i have them losing to UTEP. they are my 12 to make it to the sweet 16. Vandy will be cake for them if they can get past Butler.

I think Kentucky losing in the 2nd or 3rd round is going to **** people over. I think Kansas has a tough road, but they’re the best team and they’ll lose to KState, and i think the biggest potential bracket busters this year are;

MSU, TEN, GT, Butler, BYU, Wisconsin, Texas, Purdue, Richmond.

-TEN playing their best basketball has the potential to make the elite 8, and possibly the final 4.
-MSU is VERY well coached. Did i mention tourney experience?
-GT can upset Ohio St. with the front court, providing they get passed Ok St which isn’t easy.
- If Butler beats UTEP, they can make it thunderstorm with their 3s. Great vs a zone D like cuse in a potential sweet 16 matchup.
-BYU can beat my champ pick, KSt. VERY high powered offense vs KSt’s high powered offense will make for a great game.
-Wisconsin (my final 4 pick) can do freakin damage and i think the winner of them/temple or texas goes on to beat kentucky if texas doesn’t. Both teams play hardcore defense and can frustrate a young team like Kentucky.
-Purdue is without Hummel, but hell I’ve heard more people pick them than Siena. For the first time, a 13 seed might be favored over a 4 seed. They are going to come out ****ed and they still have 2 star players besides him. I love Siena and had them winning a game the last 2 years, but this year they get their ass handed to them.
-Richmond. Rich what? Great team outa the A10- deserved a higher seed imo and can give nova a run for their money.

^I don’t know about GT. They’ve been really mediocre this season but they can play well, they’re going to have to if they want to make a run.

Purdue might still be a good team without Hummel, but I don’t see them getting past the second round, they just don’t have as much depth without him, and if Johnson or Moore don’t step up, it’s going to be a tough road for them.

Texas A&M is going to knock of Purdue and then Duke.

they have a shot esp. cuz it’s a home game, but it’s not likely they outplay duke.

This whole year will be a cluster****. I think one or two #1 seeds will make the final 4 and half the nation will have a useless bracket by the end of the sweet 16.

especially since they’ll lose in the first round ;)

All number 1s will make elite 8. There isnt very much competition for either. Who does Kansas have to play? NIU and MSU?? Easy wins.

Sayracuse? Gonzaga and UTEP (even if Butler gets here)?? Should be cake.

Kentucky? Texas (or Wake) and Temple (or Wisconsin)?? The second will be harder, but very manageable for the incredibly talented Kentucky team.

Duke? Lousiville (will be a very good game) and AM?? These are both great schools, but very manageable for Duke who ranks in top 5 in offence and defencive efficiency.
