the brackets were just completed today!!who do yall think is gonna be in the final four and who do you think is gonna win it.I was gonna go with north carolina emerging as champs but now im not too sure. they dont look like a team that can go all the way even though they are stacked.

yeah unc is the most talented team but theyre not consistent enough, i like oklahoma st., Wake, kansas, and duke
duke's good defensively so they can take syracuse, kentucky, etc.
watch alabama as an upset team

I'm picking UNC to win.
There is no way Washington should have been a #1. Even if they wanted to give the #1 to a Western team, they should have picked OK State or even Gonzaga.
UCONN shouldn't be seeded higher than Syracuse. Syracuse was ranked higher nationally going into the Big East Championship game, and then beat UCONN. They should both be #3's, maybe Syracuse at #2.

My final four:
OK State (I just don't think Illinois has played tough enough opponents)
Wake (Washington just sucks, if there was a better #3 than Gonzaga, I would have picked them)
UNC
Kentucky (Syracuse takes out Duke)

Finals:
OK State vs. UNC

UNC wins

I would say UNC to win it but I agree, they're not consistent. Just look at the past week: first they beat Duke, then they lose to Georgia Tech.

After seeing Duke in the ACC tournament this weekend (sixth win in seven years), it's hard not to think they'll take the NCAA.

final 4- Wake, UNC, Illinois, duke
finals- UNC and Wake
i want UNC to win but wake will take it
watch out for uconn, florida, kansas, kentuky, syracuse and OK state

final 4- unc, duke, illinois, wake
finals- unc and illinois
champs- illinois
i know illinois is an unpopular pick, but I live in Minnesota and have watched them play a lot this season, and they are totally legit. the big 10 and the acc are obviously different conferences, but illinois just destroys people.

new category: which of the colleges you applied to made the tourney? for me: duke, minnesota, wisconsin

UNC will choke like every Roy team. Mark my words. Illinois will choke too because they had an easy regular season schedule.

Wake, Kentucky, Kansas, OK State

Basically all of the schools I'm applying too made the tourney. I couldn't live without quality D1 basketball.

what bias, lionswim. kansas will NOT be in the final four. i got illinois, unc, duke, and wake. if anybody beats illinois to the final four, it will be arizona, not oklahoma state

I dunno OK state can play... dunno how much not having the home crowd will hurt them. Are they road tested?

It's gonna be a really tough bracket this year. I haven't made any picks yet because I'm really trying to study the field and see where the upsets can occur. It's gonna be one wild ride!!

Does anyone see BC making it even into the third round. After going like 20-0 to start no one is giving them any respect. lol

BC eeked out a couple close victories to start the year. Hell Kent State had them down by 18 at one point to only lose by two. I don't see Boston College even getting into the sweet 16. Everyone and their grandmother is picking UNC to win (does everyone just watch ESPN and copycat it?) I personally think Duke is going to win it. Noone is better in the clutch than JJ Reddick and he will get the ball when it counts come crunch time, and not even miss one free throw. (dude is the next Mark Price. If Duke doesn't win, look for Syracuse to come out swinging and get their 2 title in four years.

Just because I have a bias doesn't mean Kansas can't make the Final Four.

Illinois is NOT that good. They remind me of that kid who brags about his 4.0, but takes three gym classes.

I predict UNC is going to lose to KU.

I have Vermont down to upset Syracuse, but if that doesn't happen then 'Cuse will be an interesting team to watch.

And Duke? Pfft.

Duke is kinda like the Jeff Gordon or New York Yankees of College hoops. I personally don't like Duke all that much either, I am just a huge Reddick fan.

I see BC possibly losing in the first round to Penn. Penn killed in the Ivy this year and they have a very talented team, very few turnovers. BC is going to have their hands full with the Quakers and even if they do get by that, I do not see them beating Alabama.

"Everyone and their grandmother is picking UNC to win"

joev, I liked your baseball analogy, duke is the yankees, UNC is the bosox. Everyone loves UNC (bosox) because they alwys get knocked out by the big guy (duke/yankees), and everyone hates duke (yankees) because they always win. And just like last year in baseball the bosox (UNC) will win. EVeryone is picking them because they are america's team.

okay, just because the Big Ten isnt the best conference in college basketball doesn't diminish the Illini's accomplishment. Don't forget how they embarrassed Gonzaga, Wake Forest, and Cincy in non-conference

Illinois has the talent to do well, but if they don't live up to the high expectations everyone has for them, it will be because they didn't get enough experience in the regular season. Zaga, Wake and Cincy are all impressive wins; I'm just not sure it's enough to put Illinois up with Duke and company.

And ok, baseball is not my sport, but it seems people hate the Yankees because they have more money than God and they use it to buy players from other teams. Ugh, professional sports. Just ugh.

Actually, my brother went to UNC...
I really hate Duke. I'm an enormous Yankees fan though.
