March SAT 2010 Score Predictions

after looking at the CR, W, and M thread

Math 800 (I’m being way to0 confident for this section)
CR 650-670
W 610-650

Math: -1, hopefully no other mistakes. 770? Grrr, why does the curve have to suck?

others i really don’t know.

Here is what I’m predicting as far as curves go:

Math: Harsh Curve [test difficulty: easy]
Critical Reading: Normal Curve [test difficulty: medium]
Writing: Normal Curve [test difficulty: medium]

I guess I’m the only one that thinks the math was harder this time than before… I got -2 in December and a 770 when I thought it was super super easy… I’m guessing I got something 30-40 points lower than that this time.

bummer…
10 char

Could an 11 essay with 2MC wrong yield a 770?

definitely

Predictions please?

3 or 4 wrong CR
5 or 6 wrong M
3 or 4 wrong with a 10/11 essay W

Predictions please:

math- 4 wrong 5 blank :frowning:
reading - 11 wrong

Hi a prediction please

CR: 6 omit, possibly 4 wrong… at most 5.
M: 4 Omit.
Writing: maybe 2 omits (if so much) and 2 wrong … idr this section

Math: 800 (BETTER BE 800)
Writing: 730-770 range (10+ essay, no idea on the MC though)
CR: 700. Knowing -3 is still 800 and I totally bombed it, I’d be completely happy with a 700. But I think curve will be lenient because many thought it was harder than other times (indeed, I agree).

So superscore: 2230-2270?

Obviously 2400 is desired, but I’d be more than happy with these scores.

New Account:

CR: I wouldn’t be surprised if you got 800 or somewhere along that number.
Math: ouch, this one was easy. I took October (easy math, and this time was even easier), and the curve was -1 = -30 pts >< so -150/-180 = 620~650? Don’t take my words for this, but just giving you an estimate.
Writing: 780-790. High 700s!

Good luck!

I know I flubbed math :(

Thanks for the estimates. I guess I’ll have to retake to fix that math score. It was my first time.

@nerdess those estimates are a bit off

@Newaccount

3 CR wrong will yield around a 780, 4 a 750 or 760
5 M wrong will yield around a 690-700 and 6 M wrong will yield around a 670-680
3-4 W wrong with a 10 essay is around a 720-750 and 11 essay 730-770

Thanks Jersey. Really appreciate everything you’ve here in the past day. :p

Hope I can get out with a 2200. That was my goal going into the test.

Predictions please:

math- 4 wrong 5 blank
reading - 11 wrong

Jersey, what do you think for:

M: 0
W: 1/10
CR: 2

@jersey
a prediction please? since it seems that yu are good at them

CR: 6 omit, possibly 4 wrong… at most 5.
M: 4 Omit.
Writing: maybe 2 omits (if so much) and 2 wrong … idr this section 10/11 essay

Over 2100? 2000?

Jersey, I’d definitely expect the math curve to be MUCH harsher than that. No doubt, this one was easier (or at least equally easy) as the Oct math.

But of course, collegeboard is highly unpredictable, so expect the unexpected.

Projections for me?

-2 math
-4 CR
-4 writing 10 essay
