March SAT CR Thread

human footprint in wet vs dry soil- provides an example people can relate to to illustrate the point
I think this one is wrong but I can’t think of what I put.

@somead
That’s correct.

somead: No, the wet footprint relate to is definitely right.

r u sure the benjamin franklin one isnt eclectic association

What were the other options?

umm artistic weakness is the most contested

Eclectic means drawing from different sources. He wasn’t really doing that, he just wasn’t all that good at making copies. Thus an artistic weakness.

The other option that is in contention is “represented the artist’s weakness” or something along those lines.

I think that’s the correct answer. The passage was elaborating on how his work differentiated from what was previously found to be appeasing and how his pieces didn’t replicate Ben Franklin as well as some of Ben Franklin’s alternative portraits.

What was autobiographical for?

was the answer movement of birds feet or entrance into the ground

Movement of birds feet.

Wasn’t that question relevant to the way the story was being told?

does anyone remember the choices for that painting question. i remember i narrowed it down to two and one was the choice above but dont remember what i put.

First question, about the author who wrote of her childhood experiences.

The answer for the paragraph summary was that it was about an artistic weakness: his predilection for and ineptness at making copies.

Did anyone think the vocab was harder than usual or just me? I didn’t really review vocab. I felt like I knew 70% of them but I usually know 80% +.

predictions for 4 wrong?

^ i felt the vocab was harder than normal also. Compared to Kaplan SAT tests they were impossible, for some reason Kaplans vocab is extremely easy.

I didn’t think the vocab was that hard, but I also studied a ton of vocab last night.

Other choices for the autobiographical question? I don’t really remember it, but it was a vocab question?

770-780 ?
