For the two courts double passage one, where it compared the camera with the “notepad” or something like that, did anyone get that the camera would be as “______ acceptable” or something like that? Because I don’t think the passage deals with the cameras prevalence in the world right now. Cameras are ubiquitous already, and because the author of passage disagreed with the notion that cameras are beneficial to a court setting, “_______ accepted/able” is correct. Anyone agree??

for the tv in courts passage, what was the answer to the question where it compared two sections and wat style they were using?

i narrowed it down to using anecdote and drawing a comparison

^ it was comparison.

was moribund an experimental SC answer?

^Yes, it was.

What was the vocab question and choices with disingenuous???

I can’t remember any of the other choices for disingenuous, but if it helps, disingenuous was choice E.

Vincit the answer to yours was the camera and notepad were common uses.

can someone tell me the answer to the unconvinced/humorous question. i put humorous because the guy completely disagreed with passage 2 so unconvinced doesn’t seem to fit.

It was unconvinced.

@IEffingHateSAT

The question was something like:

Some guy knew some girl was unfailingly candid so he didn’t believe that her remarks had a _______ tone.

Does someone remember the Adept/Pantheon q?

Because I remember having to guess and crossing that out because i thought pantheon-theo=religion, and it had nothing to do with religion? PLEASE?

Pantheon shows you are at the top and showing mastery, nothing about religion. Don’t remember the sentence though sorry.

Ami Right’s adept use of building materials and space earned him a place in the pantheon of great 20th century architects.

Pantheon isn’t necessarily religious. It’s just a celebrated group, though I actually use the religious reference to remember the meaning (gods elevated -> men elevated).

@Lucyloves

It was something about an artist who was ______ with texture/shadow/something artsy which earned him a spot in the ________ of famous artists.

Something to that effect

And although the Pantheon is a Roman temple and a pantheon refers to a building dedicated to worship/gods, another definition of pantheon is - A group of persons most highly regarded for contributions to a field or endeavor. Ex: the pantheon of modern physics.

ETS loves to test those secondary definitions lol
