March SAT CR Thread

Commercial acumen was NOT a correct answer.

^What the Communist said (never though I’d say that), it was something about legend over objectivity. The answer, that is.

Oh im sorry for the misunderstanding, im pretty sure that one is artistic weakness

Hmmm… I put commercial acumen too, because I thought it meant he painted a lot, but now I think its commercial weakness because “commercial acumen” means insight regarding business, according to the internet.

“Yo, you gotta change the map questions of the Africa one…I think the answer was to fill in for absence of objectivity or something like that.”

isnt that the same as the answer we have on the list

That’s exactly what we have in the consolidated answers.

Legends fill in when there is an absence of objective fact.

yeah…freakin commies

Where’s Joseph McCarthy when we need him…

“Two passages disagree on the proportion of issues that are important in televised court”

can someone give me the other answer choices for that one

also for “Dinosaurs lower their heel first”

What was the vocab question with the answer “Social”?

Also, 2 passage questions:

What was the question and some other choices for the TV/Court one with answer “giving a recommendation”?

What were some other choices for the Dinosaur one with answer “Most significant result was a new discovery in dinosaur movement”?

I think we left out one about what was the argument the author 2 was mentioning in lines (it was in the beginning) it was that tv is just as biased as other mediums. Anybody remember this?

i strongly disagree with “unpretentious manner”, there was nothing in the lines referenced to substantiate that. realism refers to imitation of surroundings, and i remember spending a great deal of time looking for evidence of any other answer choice.

Realism wasn’t an option on that question.

let’s finish this list… here’s how many answers we should have for each passsage:

Africa - 6 (#13-18 on the test)
Painter - 6 (#18-24 on the test)
Dinosaur - 12 (#7-19)
Double Long with Cameras in Court - 13 (#13-24)
Double Short about film adaptations - 4 (#9-12) COMPLETE
Frozen Foods - 2 (#11-12) COMPLETE
Oral Stories - 2 (#9-10) COMPLETE

frenchwarrior - i definitely agree with you, imitation was the answer, 100% sure

What do you guys think 3 or 4 wrong will yield on CR?

What question was realism an option to?

^Anywhere from 770-790

realism was not an option, it was the main point of the lines reference (that the painter used realism in his painting). thus, imitation was the correct answer in my strong opinion.

Can someone respond to my post. I’m pretty sure I’ve identified another question

^I think I may have used that same reasoning. Can somebody specify why unpretentious was the right answer?
