March SAT CR Thread

Confirmed with everything you said @CrzyGmer

@theboydave: I had that too.

At first I put appropriate and then I switched it to ill-advised after i read the first sentence more carefully. the judge was like “cameras should be in all courtrooms” and the first sentence of the first passage was like “camera lens caps should be put back on cameras in the court room” or something like that. so i figured the judge would think it was ill-advised.

The one about the fruits in africa after they got off of the boat- the tone was “wonder” not hysteria?

what were some of the other choices for the unpretentious question, b.c think i put that but dont remember

@Jersey based on a majority, it was not weakness. Its eclectic.

Eclectic means choosing from or made of various sources. Not sure how that relates to his poorly copied versions of B Franklin

wonder

which one was eclectic? I don’t remember that being an answer.

So the autobiography/isolation passage was experimental?

That question where the last sentence of the first paragraph was like “The true story began 500 years ago…” and the question asked the purpose of the sentence. What was the answer?

Yup, wonder not hysteria.
That’s what I got.

I also put eclectic association instead of artistic weakness, but I wasn’t sure because I didn’t really think the word association made sense.

@sent The one about Benjamin Franklin copies.

Also there was something in the Dinosaur passage about the hard print footprints. If someone remembers then we’ll have more answers up.

benjamin franklin one

I had wonder but I changed it to hysteria :(

iforget: I think it was something like contradicting/revising a previous statement.

How does eclectic association make any sense?

@ Iforgeteasily:
I said it was to referenced in the later text.

also in the dinosaur one there was a question that was about “what did the new discoveries show” or “why were they significant” or something like that…
i think the answer was that the movement of the foot in the mud could tell you about the movement of the foot in the air.

**To be referenced.
Wow, fail.

Eclectic means choosing from or made of various sources. Not sure how that relates to his poorly copied versions of B Franklin

And the “The truth is the story had already begun 500 years ago” I said it contrasted a statement made previously

Movement in the ground is similar to movement in the air - Reason for excitement of new discovery

I thought it was artistic weakness. I did consider eclectic, but it ended up not making sense in the for some reason.

I thought it was something to be discussed later? It’ seemed like the “better” answer to me.

It is not eclectic. It’s an artistic weakness that he can’t reproduce his paintings with the same quality as the original.
