march sat I curve

How are they going to equate the new SAT? They haven't had any of the problems on experimental sections to determine a curve. I would hope they would be more lenient since there hasn't actually been a new SAT administered yet, so we are still slightly in the dark on what to expect. The PSAT was still harsh though, so who knows.

Anyone know how long it will take for CB to grade the new SATs? I know it will be longer than 2 weeks, that is for sure.

month, and the easier curve is a rumor... however there is a truth that they might have to recenter it to be easier...

The recentering would affect the scores of the march kids too right?

They HAVE done "new" SAT I questions on equating sections of earlier tests. Those are the basis for the sample tests that appear in the new official cram book published by the College Board.

good question about the time frame for this new test. with the inclusion of the essay, how much longer do you think it'll take CB to score the entire test and get us our results? or has this been discussed elsewhere?

it's been said to be a month* nice age jimmyeatworld haha
