March SAT Math Thread

Must’ve been experimental then.

How about: a coordinate grid. We were given two or three points. We had to find one or two points. And then we had to find the area or perimeter of the shape that was formed from the four points (it was a rectangle).

@boston1993
That was experimental.

Nope, that was experimental.

Anyone remember a problem where we were given a line and one point in the top left quadrant? We had to find another point on the line (MC).

Oh well.

@kam
I don’t think so.

@kameronsmith
I don’t think so, the only point and line question that I saw is already confirmed on the list.

15n for the weekly runner…i vaguely remember it, does anyone remember the exact question

@kameron

yeah, a line that went through the origin that had a negative slope, it was asking what a point on the line could be

I think the answer was (-2,5) or something. something in the 2nd quadrant.

Can someone without math experimental confirm the slope problem?

Guy runs 2 miles M-F, plus 5 miles sunday. How many miles will he run in n weeks?

oh nice i remember

@kameronsmith
I didn’t have math experimental, and I’m almost 100% sure that was not a question.

Darn, guess it must’ve been experimental.

i didnt have math experimental and i remember the problem

I didn’t have that negative slope question either.

i don’t remember the question, just a graph where there was a line that passed through the origin

Anyone remember a graph with 2 parallel lines?

You had to choose the equation of the second line.

(Only non-experimental math people here)

I vaguely remember a question where there was an equation with 2 variables (it was something like 6x+?y=?) and you had to find x+y? or xy?

I’m not sure whether that was an experimental or not, though.

@kameronsmith
That was not a question.

you guys may be remembering this one: “(10, 9) is Point C on the square”
that was not experimental. but i think these people are talking about something else.

Nah, it’s a different one. Which is apparently experimental.

Oh well.

Was the question with like
something - x^(y-3/2)= something
answered?
