March SAT Math Thread

Yeah the curves for Math are pretty harsh. This March test contains probably one of the easiest Math sections so the curves should be similar to January which was -1 770 and -2 740.

So would 5 wrong be -6 raw? A bit confused.

for the TANYA one, was I only option A?

Alright, this is getting unhealthy.

I’m unsubscribing and just going to wait till April 1 to find out. Good luck, all!

because I remember that I put option A, I dont remember if that was I only or II only. I think only one of these was even an option…

HAHA kam, you subscribed? I just check this section of the forum every second. And by the way, TANYA can go suck a fat one.

instead of insulting poor tanya, someone tell me if they remember if it was option A!

It was god damn, I picked B though. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:frowning: It would suck worse if this was my only missed question, but it’d be better than missing 10+ like I did. Stupid me.

ok good so people agree that whatever TANYA was, it was option A?

yes…:(

TANYA was such a friggen easy question. I don’t know how anyone could get that wrong. Answer: A) I.

Damn. Just found a second mistake.

What do you guys think -2.25 will be?

@seven
It was a line graph showing the number of students at two schools over a X year (five?) period. It asked for the difference in average number of students per year. The answer was zero, or no difference.

“4 is absolute minimum of 3|x-4| + 2”

^ i thought it said absolute max? so i put -4… darn there goes my possible 800.

Regardless, that function does not have an absolute max.

For the TANYA question correct, idr what i put. but i know one answer choice had a number that corresponded to the letter b, so that was eliminated.

Was the right choice the one that had the number for A that appeared twice?

hey can someone tell me the question where X was 65? i dont remember it…

hey in general is it normal to feel like you did ****ty when you come out of the test?
hopefully i got 700 + in reading and writing but i’'m not sure if i even broke 650 on math
but i don’t think i remember much of the questions in the first place

The math section was surprisingly easy: if you felt like you didn’t do well right out of the test, I would probably say your prospects don’t look to good for math…

Could someone elaborate for me on the question in the consolidated list: “1520 is x value”. I don’t remember that.

EDIT: nevermind, searched the thread for 1520 and found it. **, that’s -1. There goes my 800. I put 80 for that questions, thinking they asked for the sum of 3+5+7, not product 357.
