March SAT Writing Thread

i put “as a result of either______________”

in the error ID question with “for which” what was the answer?

Once again, can someone confirm that involve/evolve was experimental…

I changed mine at the last minute to as a result of either.

I don’t remember involve/evolve at all.

involve/evole was experimental
once again does anyone remember an error id with wrote or written that was the error
also, what was the “return” sentence?

yeah I remember the error ID with written on it but I have no idea what I thought the answer was.
Did anyone else majorly BS the essay? I used completely laughable “personal experiences” and I didn’t even write my conclusion because I somehow misread my digital watch and thought I had more time lmao but yeah basically it was a big fail for me >.<

How bad is it that I only finished 2 sentences of my conclusion paragraph? :D

i did Abraham Lincoln, a class president, and my dad.

For my essays I used Robert Mugabe, Hitler, and then Thomas Jefferson as a counter example.

Consolidated Writing Section

No Errors (There were 3):
Hikers that went through the forest with the canopy (top right of first page)
Indian writer that used colloquial English (middle right of first page)
Unathletic boy who became adept at Ultimate Frisbee (bottom left of second page)

Idiom Errors:
succeeded in –> should be succeeded at

Redundancy Errors:
return back (top right of second page)

Paragraph Improvement:
However —> therefore
Last question: sentence should be placed after sentence 14

Section 10:
Last 5 answers are EDEEE

to expand on my question

in the error ID question about romans being able to use concrete that had the answer choice “for which” and “have”

what was the answer?

what was the full sentence for return back? was it error id or sent improv

ADD to consolidated:
abundance should be singular (error id)

i put that “have” was wrong

@mabsjenbu - I think it was “have” because it should have been past tense? Something along the lines of “The Romans would have been able to do such and such, but the [insert-other-civilization-name] had to do such and such.”
idk :/

I put have as well.

The EDEEE thing makes me worried cause I usually notice that stuff but didn’t notice that one.

agree it was have
add “had went” to consolidated list

please, did anyone have “wrote” or “written” as an error???

ok

1 wrong so far

■■■

@mybmanglass

No, I don’t recall such a question nor answer.

Last question: sentence should be placed after sentence 8?
